  3. Hi Renaud,

As a person who has no knowledge of all of these things and planning to start my own business, I find your page really helpful, so thank you for creating this website. However, I’ve been trying to access the: Ultimate Guide To Sourcing From China And Developing Your Suppliers E book but just comes out as a photo no PDF download.

    Thanks so much.

  4. hi,i am looking to manufacture clothing in china.i emailed a few factories in china and narrowed it down based o the fabrics and clothing pics they showed me.i requested a fabric sample and will not go ahead before i see the samples and like the quality…am i missing any critical steps?should i be afraid that they won’t give me the same quality as the sample?please advise

    1. Yes, you need to work on describing what defects you cannot accept (which ones would be classified as major or minor). You need to approve the packaging, too, and clarify what you don’t want.
And you need to have an inspector check quality, at least before shipment. Maybe also during production.
